What I've purchased +

I've never been one to post what I buy for two main reasons...

1. I eventually blog about what's really awesome

2. it seems like gloating if I post what I buy. I mean all of us as bloggers buy a lot of stuff. We want to write about what we all like...but showing what we buy...can be seen as gloating...at least that's how my sister sees it. My sister used to see what I bought and she used to get mad or just be passive aggressive about it. For what reason(s) I don't know, but you get the idea...

As of the past few weeks, I've been working like crazy, especially with my schedule working during the day, and now I'm back on nights...needless to say it's not fun because my body is not adjusting well AT ALL. I've gotten stuff in the mail/bought stuff in store...and with all that has happened in my life...I haven't really played with any of it, which explains the less frequency of my posts.

but!

I've decided to show you my most recent makeup stuff. I hope you guys don't see it as gloating, because it isn't. I just want you all to see what I will eventually blog about and to see what I get excited about. This is stuff I've acquired during the past few weeks, so don't think i just got it all in one shot. I hope you enjoy looking at some of my pretties.

I added Becca makeup back into my life. yay !

So what did I get?:
By Terry loose powder in ivory peach
Suqqu #4 quad -- Keshizumi
Suqqu LE quad (in the white casing) -- EX-02 -- Sukashizumi
Becca Guava tint
Becca #58 foundation brush
RMK powder brush (to go with my By Terry loose powder -- it's that special).
Becca Halcyon Days Palette
Le Labo Gaiac 10 refill. (my signature fragrance since 2009).

a closeup of Gaiac 10. Yes, it's panties perfume. :)

Shu Uemura 7.5 EXB fan brush (only sold in a certain part of Japan)
Shu Uemura eyeshadows in: ME825, P140, G bronze, M895
Shu Uemura custom palette in: P781, P812, M335

(most of these are only sold in Asia, so don't be surprised if you don't see it on the US site).

  2. the becca palette is so soft and glowy. i had a feeling that you'd probably have it, after seeing your favorite eyeshadow colors. the gloss color isn't much, but it's so pretty over guava.

  3. Don't feel bad about posts like this. I do know exactly what you mean though about worrying it looks like gloating etc. I use them in a similar way to you when I do them, to keep track of what I have to blog about and show people what will be coming up soon. It is such a lovely haul! Can't wait to see posts on the Suqqu and By Terry. Hope your work schedule calms down a bit soon x

  5. @Lipstick Luvvie: i'll write about By Terry Seve de Rose first. I'll write about the powder later :) i'm so glad someone understands my By Terry luv :D

@BlushingNoir: I feel bad blogging about the becca palette since it's sold out online, but it's still at my Henri Bendel counter. (it's so mean to taunt people). I keep my blog about current items. Maybe i'll review it.

  9. I actually adore seeing haul posts! I don't see it as gloating if you've bought it all yourself. You've earned your money and can spend it as you wish. My sister is the same way, I have to hide my MU from her as when she sees any of it together she gets all snitty about it. Anyways, you items look beautiful! You'll have to tell us if you like everything. Great post (as always!)

  11. I personally like seeing hauls. It gets me excited about possible reviews to come or to go out and take a look at the things for myself. I can understand how some people might see it as gloating, but I really don't see it that way. :) So please don't feel bad!

I'm envious of your Suqqu haul. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet soon and get me a palette (or two.. haha). Thank you for sharing!

  13. I never see it as gloating, I like seeing what other people buy, because it's like doing some "virtual" shopping, and because it gives me ideas.
I would love to try some suqqu products!

  14. I don't mind haul posts, I like looking at pretty things :)
Those Shu Uemura palettes look beautiful and Guava is one of my favourite non-powder blushes.

  16. i used to own some becca, but i didn't care for it so i gave it away to a friend. whenever i'd go to my drugstore and see the becca display...i'd just look at it and never get motivated to buy anything.

now that david works for becca at Henri Bendels (he left spaceNK), he makes great recommendations so i'll be buying more becca all thanks to him.

  19. I second Hebridean Sprite. And if someone frequents beauty blogs, they have to expect haul posts. About the only thing I don't like about haul posts is the word "haul". It has some connotations I don't like but haven't worked out well enough to be able to name it. I sat carry on! -Jane
